What is the difference between the standard or extended model bates innova dressage Saddle?

I have a Bates Innova in the standard model, and it one of the best saddles that I have ridden in. The standard/extended option refers to the size of the knee block. In the standard, there is still a prominent knee block, but it is not as wide/deep. This model is intended mainly for women, because of the size of the knee block accommodates the natural position of a woman's hip/thigh joint. In the extended, the knee block is much larger and gives the rider's leg a straighter angle in the knee and hip. I, as a woman, find it very uncomfortable and prefer the standard. I know about a dozen other people with the Innova, and all have chosen the standard block. It's really a preference though. If you are able, test ride each.
