witch western bit should i choose for my 6 year old horse.?
i ride a 6 year old QH. I ride him English and would like to go western. I'm using a kimberwick bit at the moment, but i don't know what bit should i use though the training of western style. what kinda of bit should i use?
If your horse is used to a Kimberwick for english, do you use a broken bit, one with a low port, twisted mouth, etc?
I would go to a low port or broken mouth curb bit that has short shanks that will swivel. There won't be much difference that way.
