how do you stop the edges from curling?
I'm knitting a baby blanket for my neighbor's new baby. its blue and white stripes in stockinette stitch. except that i forgot that the edges curl in stockinette stitch. So anyways my question is how do i stop the edges from curling on my blanket? is there anything i can do to fix it?
edges curl on just about any type of knitting..... you can fix it when you are done. What you do is wet it and stretch it out and "block it" (weigh it down with books or heavy items) until it drys and it should straighten out. also when you are done if you know how to crochet too, you can put an edge around it and that helps too.
