english bridle bit attachment?
I bought a bridle for my new horse awhile ago and the bit just came in today. So I have the bridle all assembled execpt for the bit and the reins which of course need to be attached to the bit. But as much as I stain my fingers, I cannot seem to undo those crazy buckles that attactch the bit to the bridle and reins because of the little metal piece that keeps it super secure. Any tips on how to do this? I don't know how people change their bits so often when I can't get these to put a bit on. help please. =]

I remember when I got my first set of reins and they had the hooks and my bridle had buckles so of course I was trying to get it unhooked the wrong way and it took me FOREVER but then I finally got it right with some help from my mom.Lol. What you do it pull the piece of leather as if you were pulling a buckle to make it tighter and then there is a slit in the leather and the hook should be right in between the slit so you pull the part with the slit up and then it will com undone.
