All purpose or a jumping saddle?
Hi, I've been wondering about getting a new saddle. Right now i ride in a Wintec 500 AP saddle. I love it, I really do, but I think it's about 1/2 to 1 in. too small. I already have a dressage saddle, so I don't really need to AP saddle for flat work anymore. Should I look into getting another AP saddle, or a jumping or close contact one? My birthday will be coming soon, and I'm about to start a new job, so I'll probably have to pay for it myself. What brands to you recommend? I think I want a Leather one. Thx
I want to jump, last summer I did hunters but next summer I want to get more into jumpers.
Thanks everyone, you were all really helpful. I could afford a stubben I would totally get one. It's what my dressage saddle is and I LOVE it.
I thing you should get a jumping saddle. They're fine for flat work, but you already have a separate dressage saddle, so there's really no need for an AP at all.
What's your estimated budget? If you're on one, I suggest a Collegiate or M. Toulouse or Dover Circuit.
