some people put stupid answer's and i really don't need them, i need helpful advice not stupid immature people im 13 and my horse has more manner's than the first two answer's.
also the color im going with is navy cause my horses color is blue. thank you for the respectful people on here others y'all just suck id let my horse kick yall's faces in anythime:)
Cotton sheets don't really make the best turn-out sheets. They are really meant for stabling or for protecting a horse's coat for shows. The fabric absorbs water and dirt and becomes overly dirty and uncomfortable after a week or two. Also, the lack of gussets is going to cause shoulder rubbing. Your horse will inevitably rub the hair off their shoulders while running in the padocks.
If this is for summer weather, I would suggest looking at a fly sheet. They are breathable because they have small openings. They also do not soak up water or dirt. They are very easy to clean, protect your horse from bleaching (sun), flies, and dirt, and come with gussets most of the time.
Really consider the weather you are in. If you live in a very hot climate, I would let your horse go naked during the summer. It stinks to see your pretty pony turn brown with dirt, but they will inevitably be more comfortable.
