Tall boots ?Show season?

I am coming back into the show circuit, and as a teenager I know I need tall boots for my classes.I ride hunter jumper , and will be doing rated and Un-rated shows this season. I'm not sure which classes I will be entering my horse(first year of showing for him) probably baby green hunters.

Now I was just looking on Dover saddlery.com and there are a few options. Dress ?Field? I am not sure what this means(have never owned tall boots) I AM WONDERING CAN YOU SHOW IN ZIP-UP TALL BOOTS?

Yes, you can show in zip-up boots. They're WAY easier to get off, and tend to fit better, since the ankle doesn't have to be big enough to fit your foot through.

Field Boots have the little set of lacing on the front, generally break into being very soft and are for Hunter/Jumper/Eventing/General showing/ etc

Dress Boots don't have the laces on the front, generally remain very stiff (Some even have a piece of metal that runs down the back of the calf) and are for Dressage.

Both of these style boots come in Zip and non ZIp styles.
