buying a Cashel soft saddle pad?
I have 45 bucks, and I can't find it anywhere for less than 50. I really don't feel like going to the bank just to put in five dollars, lol. Is there any website where I might find it used or something?
Or what about using a regular pad with a cashel soft saddle, would that work? I have one of those tacky neoprene waffle weave pads for english, I bet it would fit. Do you think that would be okay?

I would wait until you have the additional five dollars, and get the right pad. But, then, what do I know???
Add....it actually does look like it might work. If it doesn't, then you can still buy the pad. And you don't even need any pad with the soft saddle. It's just for added comfort, and mainly for longer rides. The only concern would be that since the soft saddle has no tree, the wrong pad could increase pressure or friction against the spine/wither area.
