Girth Roller Buckles

I have a Wintec 500 series with the CAIR panel system and i always use the same holes on my girth. The synthetic outer layer around the inner woven part of my billet strap has cracked and has ripped on either side of the hole. I had this problem on my Tuffrider saddle too. Is it the way I tighten the girth, or is it the saddle. I use a Wintec girth with roller buckles. I have a two year warranty so I'm planning on getting it fixed anyway, but how do I prevent this in the future? Thanks
I feel as though I can't buy a leather saddle because I'm only fifteen and I don't clean my leather bridal as i should. i don't want to take on another thing that i have to clean every month.
