Which Skateboard is better?
ok, i am learning how to skate and my friends think that the board i am using now sucks, and its not going to help me get better. The board i am using now is a blind, i dont really know anything thing else but the trucks are royal,and the wheels are mongoose...so it really sucks. The board i am looking at is a Zero complete board, and i just want to know which one is better:
Frontage Trucks
SL abec 3 bearings
yellow jacket wheels
OR
Zero Trucks
Zero Bearings
Zero Wheels
OR
Monster Trucks
Abec 5 Black Widow Bearings
Zero Wheels
Oh,and are speed demons trucks, wheels, and premium 7 bearings better than the stuff listed above??? and are royal trucks better than any of the trucks listed above???? And how do trucks,wheels,bearings,and type of grip tape effect your skateboarding????And please dont tell me of a good set-up, because there are only 4 skateboard completes i am looking at and i dont want to make a $200 board.
royal trucks are ectually pretty decend.
but i think the best package out of the three listed would be the zero trucks bearings and wheels.
Frontage and monster trucks arent pro trucks, and are rather crappy. speed demons sucks. period. the trucks help you turn and slide and grind better. pretty much all trucks are about equal unless i said so above. bearings go inside your wheels and help them spin fast with the least resistance. if your just a beginner you dont really have to worry about the bearings at all. NO BOARD SHOULD BE 200$
if you pay that you payed way way too much. at the most complete skateboards should be around 130 or 140.
i would recommend checking out ccs.com.
they have fairly good prices and its simple and easy to use. look for clearance decks beacuse you will save money and get just as good quality
