Christmas list ?

I'm thinking of using Christmas as a time to gain some English stuff, since I primarily ride Western.

I *eventually* want to show, but for now I'm taking lessons. I'm not using my own horse yet, so tack would be getting ahead of myself. I'm thinking clothes.

I have navy riding tights, an old helmet, nice half chaps, and crappy paddock boots.
So, I was thinking a new helmet, and new boots.

My real question is, what else should I have? Is there anything I'm missing that I'll need to progress?

And just for fun, what horsey things are you asking for?
I went to Congress too! That's the best gift ever. I'm not asking for a lot since I bought way too much stuff down there, and I'm getting a new camera tomorrow.
I'll probably ask for a new helmet as the biggest priority.

That sounds good. Maybe ask for some white or tan breeches. You can wear them schooling, and if you decide to show, then you can wear them there too!

I'm asking for a bunch of those shirts with cute sayings on them, etc. This is what's on my list.....

Obviously I haven't narrowed it down yet...... lol. I am not going to ask for ALL those.

I also really want some Irideon full seat breeches. I am really digging some black ones. I don't have any black breeches yet. I also need new white full seat breeches, because my current pair is obnoxiously high waisted (I could almost wear it as a one piece, LOL). I can't stand high waisted pants. I need low rise.

I also want a new Irish Knit cooler. But I really can't ask for much horse wise until I get a new horse, because I don't know what will fit, etc.
