Horse Racing Art

Recently, I've been getting into watching gymnastics. I'm a hockey player, and I find watching gymnastics extremely entertaining. The movements and fluidity of a routine is a great example of hard work and dedication. Yahoo answer has cricket, cycling, snooker, handball, horse racing, martial arts, running and surfing, all second rate sports in the media eyes, but they don't have gymnastics. Since they don't, can someone point me in the right direction on where I can learn about the sport. Like mainly how the scoring is done. And what a gymnasts goes through choosing the right routine.
