Icelandic Pony Horse

I bought a 1/2 icelandic pony / 1/2 quarter horse cross buckskin paint mare awhile back. She turned out to be pregnant and I know the sire was either a full blooded arab or a full blooded quarter horse. The colt is a buckskin paint like its mother. They both have the icelandic mane all over the place.

The colt is bigger though with a more delicate face than its dam and he is very tall in the hindquarters like a cutting horse. He runs happily with his tail straight up and is very intelligent. I know that arabs run like that, but I heard that many paints do as well. He doesn't have the pronounced arched neck or the definitely dished face, but he is a little delicate in his features. Do you think there is arab in there?
