What do you think of this bit?

I'd use it on my Western Pleasure Horse.
Right now I ride him in a simple single jointed Tom Thumb. I'd take the time to introduce the bit slowly, etc.
I'd just like to hear your thoughts, on harsh-ness, etc.
I need a curb/leverage bit for my horse for Western Pleasure, so please don't reccomend a snaffle or something.
Other reccomendations appriciated, as long as I could use the bit in a Stock Horse (QH) Pleasure class.
I'd like it to be "fancy" as I would use it in shows.
That has nothing to do with my question.
Bobbi:
The reason I need a leverage bit is because it is required in Western Pleasure in the division I show in. I wouldn't ride in one if I didn't have to for showing.
I usually ride in a snaffle, only my pleasure bit every once in a while so he's used to it at a show.
This bit looks kind enough for what you seem to be looking for. The only concern is that there is no mouth, tonuge or bars of mouth action however im guessing for a pleasure class this wouldnt be necessary. You probably dont need to introduce it incredibly slowly, try it on for a ride and if the horse feels good in it and soft then stick with it and use it. It might be a slight change coming from a single jointed tom thumb to a bit with no movment except the one roller. Be aware that worst case scenario, he might be resistant because there is very little movment in it.
Happy riding!!
