How much would it cost to build a horse barn?

Ok so I'm doing this little wishing project for my self. So when my family finally gets allot of money I told them that i would like to buy a bunch of land and build a horse barn that has 8 or 9 stalls inside with a wide walkway. Also a moderately medium tack room that is very organized along with an office room right next door.I would also like a very large indoor arena that is well lit and that is attached to the barn. i know that's allot but because my dad has a very well owned rv business going that we will be getting the money once we get more rvs. Please don't give any mean answers cause I all ready know that it's a far off dream but hey if all I can do is dream then why not.

When I first started saving for a house deposit, a goal of $20,000 or $40,000 seem impossible to achieve.

I had a relative who was aware of my goal and used to give me a birthday card each year with a $20 note in it. With a message that said "Buy yourself a brick". In other words a brick towards your house!

At the time that $20 seemed like it would never help achieve my goals, but I put it away with the rest of my savings anyway. I was in my late teens and determined to achieve my goal.

So basically it does not matter how young or old you are, you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it.

Write a list of goals, short term 0-5 years, medium term 6-15 years and long term 16-30 years. Include everything from buying a car, finishing school, good grades, dream job and buying a property and building that barn.

Have three columns and beside these goals write what you need to achieve it. So car might be $10,000 (I don't know where you are Then in the next column how long, so car might be in 7 years. (in 7 years I would like to save $10,000 to buy my own car). It would be handy to then write another list of things you can do to start working towards your goals. Save up birthday money, baby sit, extra chores etc etc.

I'm now on 4000 acres, stables, round yard, nice wash bay, big undercover yards and horses everywhere. Over the last 10 years we have done a lot to improve it, hard work pays off.

I still sometimes pull out that old list, there is no greater satisfaction than crossing things off and feeling accomplished. That list of dreams seemed impossible, now it is all a reality, the car, float, house, property, finishing school, good grades, good job when I finished school (even the family!).

Dream hard and plan just as hard. Things don't normally fall in peoples laps, but hard work is often rewarded
