Eagle Scout Ceremony with a stepmom and mom attending?
Stepmother has raised scout, full-time, since age 6 and was the driving force in scout making Eagle.
However, as his natural mother is alive, do not want to preclude her from her son's ceremony.
Any ideas would be appreciated regarding seating (father, stepmom, mom) and the pinning portion of the ceremony.

I would invite her only if the Eagle Scout wants her there. If he is okay with her being there, and not knowing the layout of the room, I would seat her near, but not next to, either the father, the eagle scout or the step mom. They are the family that is the reason that he is getting the Eagle and they should be the ones in the spotlight. As far as the pinning, again, I would say that she is to be treated as a guest not as part of the family that worked so hard to help him earn his Eagle. As a mother/leader of a daughter earning her Gold Award, I can tell you, that I would not be willing to share the credit with anyone else. I don't think it's being selfish, but if she wanted to be a part of his Eagle project, I'm sure she had plenty of opportunities to help. Don't worry about her, enjoy the evening, and a great BIG CONGRATULATIONS, on earning the Eagle. Way To Go!
