Pat Parelli or Clinton Anderson?

Alright, first of all please don't start any fights on here, all I want to know is your opinion. I have been curious about this for a while. I would like to know which one you prefer and why.

I pretty much like both of them although I use Clinton's method, because she is a little more dominant and likes to get her way, Clinton's ways seem to get her to respect me better. But I love how Parelli has the levels, that would help me a lot in the training process.

Anyways, lets see what you guys have to say about them!

No matter what trainer(s) you follow or what method you use.You must have a few simple rules. Safety being #1!! Respect of your space by the horse. Trust, leadership and a partnership. With these few things you can go far. But you have to put the time into it. You cant expect to spend 10 mins a week with your horse and have a great relationship.

I have studied Parelli for the last 5-6 yrs. I love the foundation this method has given me. It has brought me far when playing with horses on the ground and into the starting of a young horse or to restart an older horse. In fact, several good friends have become 1 Star Parelli Instructors. One in the USA is, Meggie Allen, she is in Michigan!

I haven't bought anything of Clinton's but do watch his show on RFD-TV. I like his methods and like Parelli puts a real good foundation on a horse.

I have gone on to study many Natural Trainers and have developed my own method of training. I am now helping others with their horses connecting in a whole new way from the ground up!

Both PP and CA are great teachers. You cant go wrong with either one. Once you get going than you can expand your knowledge.
