could a sun beam do these things?
first and most importantly could you focus a light on a pipe, heat it up, then boil water in it.
could you focus a light and use a reflective hose to burn large amounts of trash in a controlled environment collect the smoke and release the good air leaving just trash smoke build up?
could you put the beam through a magnifying glass and make the beam more intense?
could you put the beam through a clear glass with pigments to steal the certain light so the beam only consists of a few different colors?
i have a lot more questions but this is enough for now thank you for answering i think you will have a little fun with these. (smiley face)
1.) Theoretically, you could boil water in a pipe so long as the water is standing still.
2.) The only problem with the hose is that light is an energy and light actually expires, what you would wind up wit is a light at the end of the tunnel.
3.) You can magnify light through a magnifier, and intensify the beam.
4.) You are describing a prism here, a prism divides the light based on wavelength and redistributes it, thereby making a visible "rainbow".
