Ghostly interactions or science related?
Ever heard tales of objects flying off the wall without cause?
I have experienced this first hand. I worked at an old warehouse a few years back that was supposedly haunted. Of course I was a little tense at times, and I've heard things constantly that would sound like footsteps behind me or someone crying/laughing and no one being there.
But one day, I heard something that caused me to turn my head. A roll of duct tape, sitting on a table, shot straight to the floor, at least 3 or 4 feet. No one was in the warehouse but me. This is was heavy duty roll for industrial business, weighing at least a half a pound or so.
What would be the reason of this object flying from a resting position, straight to the floor. Could it be a ghost, or could it be an energetic force from a unknown field..
I would really love to get people's opinions on this
also.. what is the scientific term for this?
I think most ghost hunters would call that poltergeist activity. I don't follow that line of thought. I believe that any spirit can manipulate objects in our plane if the conditions are right. Then again, I wasn't there. Did the warehouse have rats or mice in it? How close to the edge had the tape been sitting? Was someone else in the area? You heard something, what did you hear? Was the tape on it's side or standning up where it could roll? Lots of questions.
