Looking for a pad...? (filling space)?
I have a horse with fairly prominent withers who has always required a little more padding with the saddle that I use. The saddle has semi-quarter horse bars and fits him great with a small correction pad, thicker pad and then saddle blanket... But I would really prefer not to have to layer up and use so many different pads... Can anyone recommend a good, thick saddle pad that is designed well for a horse with a lot of wither? I don't want to purchase another saddle, because I use this one interchangeably between this horse and my other (not to mention it cost me almost $3,000).

Thank you guys... Not exactly what I'm looking for though...
BTDT! I've now been using the Cool Back and Wool Back pads since 1974. Between those with inserts and the carpet pads that were popular in the mid 1990's which have foam on the sides and nothing but fabric in the channel I never had a problem with my camel withered QHs and TBs.
I love their fleece pads because you can throw them in the wash on cold setting, wash, hang out to dry an back on your horses.
