Recently Broke my Fibula?
I recently broke my fibula at the ankle. I went to the urgent care center where it was first x rayed. I then was refered to the OS. He set me up with one of those heavy black boots, told me to take it off 3-4 times a day to ice, then after 3 weeks I can go back to the Original splint and walk on it. I don't kno if i am just being a worrier, but 3 weeks of healing and then just to start walking on it seems a bit to sudden. Anyone that has broken then fibula let me have a little input please!
I never have broken that, but three weeks does seem fast, you may want to get a second opinion. Has he set you up with a physical therapist?
