Horse hoof stand?

I'm 16 and i have started trimming my horses hoofs myself. I love trimming them personally but hate having to bend over and hold the hoof for long periods of time and it kills my back. I can't afford a hoof jack or other hoof stands like that, so i was wondering....How could i make my own hoof stand for hoof trimming?

Ha!!! I'm always trying to find something that works! Or make it...

My hoof stand is homemade too...
It's made of an old tire rim...the steel kind...that's the base. Then my husband welded old horseshoes around the base...so they lay flat on the ground. The 'ends' of the horseshoes are welded to the tire rim. And the 'pole' is about 18 inches high...

Ya know...I'm just gonna go take a picture and post it...easier than trying to describe it!! Be back in a few minutes...

The horseshoes give me something to step on, and keep the stand from tipping over if the horse decides to drag his foot away. The white stuff inside it...is hoof shavings.

This was basically free. Just made of stuff that was lying around. And it works perfect!! I don't use a cradle...so I don't have one. If I did...I would make one to slip over the pipe I already have.
