Can MTG (Maine-Tail-Grow) make tails longer?
I have read that MTG (Maine-Tail-Grow) helps with skin problems and the RE-growth of hair. My horse has an average/thick tail but it is just a little short for the hunter ring. I don't have the money to buy an extension (+ braiding it in), so would MTG help make an undamaged tail just grow out more? I am also using a tail bag right now. Are there any other supplies that will help promote growth?
M-T-G does, indeed, promote hair growth. Read label directions and apply as instructed. The manufacturer knows their product. Information offered by other users that contradicts label instruction will be less than helpful.
To help re-growth, don't brush or comb from the top down. Start at the bottom and gently comb up wards, The top down only makes tangling worse.
Hot oil will do nothing for growth.
