Lunging balance training system?

I just bought a balance training system for my 5yr old QH. It came with the cavason, pully's surcingle and the piece that goes on the hind quarters. How do I correctly fit it to my horse and it didn't come with a bit so do I just throw my headstall and bit on him underneith the cavason and then just hook my lunge line to the cavason???

You fit the cavason the same as you would a bridle (a bit looser if you plan to have a headstall with a bit underneath).

The Surcingle should fit tight enough that it does not slide from side to side, but not as tight as a girth does.

As for hooking the lunge line, it is easiest to hook it on the middle loop of the cavason because you don't have to switch it every time you change directions. but it really doesn't matter. (and yes.. you hook the lunge to the cavason, not the bit)
